Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Siddhi Vinayak Electro Care (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects your personal information when you contact us, bring an appliance in for service, or use this website.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what we need in order to service your appliance and keep proper business records:

• Contact details — your name, phone number, email address and address.
• Appliance details — brand, model, serial number, the fault reported, and any accessories handed in with the device.
• Service and billing records — job cards, estimates, invoices, payments and warranty claim details.
• Communications — messages you send us by phone, WhatsApp or email.

This website does not require you to create an account, and we do not sell anything through it. It contains no tracking or advertising cookies. Basic technical information (such as your IP address) may be recorded in routine server logs for security and reliability purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To diagnose, repair and return your appliance.
• To contact you about the status of your job, estimates, or when your device is ready for collection.
• To raise warranty claims with the relevant manufacturer where your appliance is under warranty.
• To issue invoices and maintain accounting and GST records as required by law.
• To respond to your enquiries.

3. Who We Share It With

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only where necessary:

• Manufacturers we are authorised by (including Bajaj Electricals and V Guard) — where a warranty claim or brand-authorised service requires it.
• Service providers that help us operate, such as our accounting software and messaging providers.
• Government or regulatory authorities where we are legally required to do so.

4. WhatsApp and SMS Communication

If you provide your phone number, we may send you service-related messages over WhatsApp or SMS — for example your invoice, a job status update, or a notification that your appliance is ready. These are service messages relating to work you have asked us to carry out, not marketing. You can ask us to stop sending them at any time by telling us on the contact details below.

5. How Long We Keep It

We keep service and billing records for as long as required under applicable Indian tax and accounting law, and for as long as needed to honour warranty obligations on work we have performed. Information no longer needed for these purposes is deleted or securely destroyed.

6. Keeping Your Information Secure

We take reasonable measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Our business records are held in access-controlled systems. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You may contact us at any time to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
• Ask us to delete information we are not legally required to retain.
• Withdraw consent to receive service messages.

8. Children

Our services are directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.
